As a Senior Geospatial Analyst, you will have the chance to work on a broad range of consulting projects with a focus on supporting our global client base. Working with other members of our team, you’ll help deliver complex technical projects while applying GIS technology to solve complex data analytics challenges. You will leverage your strong geospatial skills and collaborate with experts in various disciplines.
Based out our Burnaby, British Colombia, office, you’ll be part of our growing Power portfolio supporting electric transmission siting and permitting, terrestrial renewables, and offshore wind projects in Western Canada. You’ll need strong skills in digital/mobile technologies such as Survey123, Experience Builder, ESRI Field Maps, and other mobile platforms. You’ll get the opportunity to use these skills to drive change and deliver cutting-edge solutions to a wide range of clients in the Power Industry.

• B.S. or M.S./M.A. in Geography, Geographic Information Systems, Geomatics Engineering, or a closely related field
• Professional GIS or related experience
• Have significant demonstrated experience with the Esri suite of software, including:
Desktop: ArcPro, ArcMap.
Web: Enterprise (Portal), ArcGIS Online, Web App Builder.
Peripheral Apps: Collector/Field Maps, Survey123. GPS Hardware: Eos, Trimble
• Strong data management skills including creating, editing in a multi-user environment, and GIS data conversion.
• Strong cartographic design skills to make our products look great for both print and web-based solutions.
• Strong understanding of map projections and data transformations.
• Experience setting up field teams for mobile data collection using Collector, Survey123, and GPS equipment.
• Experience creating, publishing, and managing map services.
• Experience with utilities or with linear based projects and working in power or utility sectors, a plus.
• Experience with Python, FME, and SQL, a plus.
• Experience using Microsoft’s PowerBI platform for data visualization, a plus.
• Experience working in cross-product data analytics paradigm
• Experience managing a team of GIS analysts and a passion for mentoring and growing your team.
• Project management experience including scope, schedule, and budget development.
• Ability to travel up to 25%.
