MARINE VIEW COLD STORAGE Assistant Production Line Supervisor in BURLINGTON, Washington

Seafood processing and cold storage company in Burlington is looking for an Assistant Production Line Supervisor for our processing lines (fresh/frozen crab and fish.) This position is for full-time, year-round work. This is a local job at our plant in Burlington. No travel to Alaska and no working on a boat! We are expanding our cold storage and looking to hire people to grow with our company which is in our 26th year of business. This position will start with company training to understand the various processing line positions. Then you will progress to becoming a lead on the processing line with the expectation to become a backup for the line supervisors once trained. No prior seafood or processing experience is necessary if you are dependable and willing to work with good job references!  This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a leading company that has achieved several high ratings for food processing standards and safety by International Audit Firms, and the Military. We are a company that cares about its reputation and its employees. SCHEDULE Working hours are generally 7:00 am to 4:00 pm Monday-Friday year-round. During busy seasons we often have additional overtime hours and sometimes Saturday.  JOB REQUIREMENTS 6 months experience desired in one of the following: warehouse, food processing, packing, meat cutting, or assembly line for any company or industry. Must be at least 18 years of age. Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of typically 2 hours at a time between breaks and up to 10 hours a day (on overtime days). Most of the time we work 8 hour days. Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. Must be able to work in a sometimes wet and cold environment. Good attitude and work ethic required.
