Description

We are seeking an efficient Data Entry Clerk for a long term contract employment opportunity in Burlington, Vermont. This role will be centered around handling and depositing remittances and maintaining files received by mail. The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of tasks related to documentation, deposits, and processing.

Responsibilities:

• Handle and deposit remittances accurately and timely

• Maintain and manage files received via mail

• Process documentation as per the industry standards

• Contribute to the staffing process when required

• Use lock box systems for secured transactions

• Resolve any issues related to remittance or documentation

• Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth operations

• Adhere to industry regulations and company policies

• Continually update skills and knowledge to enhance job performance

• Provide excellent customer service to both internal and external clients.

Requirements • Must possess strong skills in Documentation, Deposits, Staffing, Processor, Remittance, and Lock Box.

• Proven ability to file and retrieve corporate documents, records, and reports efficiently.

• Excellent organizational skills to maintain records and filing systems in a manner that allows easy retrieval of information.

• Proficient in using various types of office software and equipment, including computers, photocopiers, scanners, and fax machines.

• Capable of performing general office duties such as typing, operating office machines, and sorting mail.

• Strong communication skills to interact with employees and external parties professionally.

• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.

• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Must possess a high level of integrity, reliability, and responsibility.

• Able to adapt quickly to changes and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions based on available information.

• Flexibility to work additional hours as required to meet deadlines.

• Previous experience in a similar role would be an added advantage.
