Job Title: Forklift Operator - Afternoon Shift

Job Description

Maintain manufacturing efficiencies while ensuring the safe and clean delivery of products via Reach fork lift. Responsibilities include supporting compounders by providing timely and accurate delivery of raw materials, checking route sheets for special instructions, servicing the floor with materials for batching, and communicating with warehouse staff about raw material needs. Additionally, the role involves cleaning and moving totes to and from the washout area as specified, and managing the hooking up and emptying of tanks.

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position, 3 month contract with option to go permanent after.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Burlington, Ontario.

Work Environment

The position offers straight shifts with an initial training period on the day shift for the first 2-4 weeks. A lab coat (provided), long pants, and steel-toed shoes are required attire. The environment is temperature-controlled, clean, and organized, with a fragrant smell from chemicals. Occasional slight wetness may occur when washing totes.
