Job Title: CNC Machinist
Job Description
As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for executing pre-planned manufacturing operations to produce products that meet quality and delivery requirements to support business targets.
Responsibilities
Setup fixtures per pre-planned manufacturing instructions to ensure proper alignment.
Setup parts per pre-planned manufacturing instructions to ensure proper alignment.
Setup tools per pre-planned manufacturing instructions to ensure proper dimensions.
Operate machining operations per pre-planned manufacturing instructions to meet quality requirements.
Inspect parts using gauges, calipers, micrometers, etc. to ensure parts meet quality requirements.
Perform operations such as deburr, airflow, heat treat, sizing, correction, etc. per pre-planned manufacturing instructions to meet quality requirements.
Maintain equipment per preventive maintenance requirements to ensure reliable machine operation.
Essential Skills
2 years of close tolerance CNC Machining experience or Trade School Certificate or Apprenticeship Tool & Die Program.
HS diploma or GED.
Ability to work independently and take on new challenges and assignments.
Ability to interact/communicate effectively at all levels.
Ability to problem solve within area of expertise at a high level.
Ability to learn and use multiple business system software.
Competent in reading blueprints and work instructions.
Understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing.
Applies mathematical methods and reading skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with calipers, gauges, deburr, blueprint reading, CNC troubleshooting, and change over.
Experience with mill, machine operating, CNC machine operation.
Experience with drill press, mechanical grinding, grinder, programming, and production machining.
Knowledge of CNC mill, CAD/CAM, AutoCAD.

Work Environment
This role offers positions on the first and second shifts, with the second shift running from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM. Initial training will be conducted during the first shift. The work environment involves operating various CNC machines and using tools such as calipers, gauges, and micrometers. Employees are expected to adhere to preventive maintenance requirements to ensure reliable machine operation.

This is a Permanent position based out of Burlington, North Carolina.

The pay range for this position is $54558.00 - $74568.00
