Our client is seeking an entry level lab technician to join their growing team!

Type: Contract-to-hire

Rate: $22-25/hr

Location : Burlington County, NJ

Duties:

• Perform laboratory tests by adhering to established procedures and protocols in the testing lab.

• Operate testing equipment following specific guidelines.

• Utilize scanners and software for image scanning.

• Execute test tube reactions according to prescribed test methods.

• Document and record observations and test results accurately.

• Handle chemicals and hazardous waste safely, in accordance with procedures, and interpret chemical Safety Data Sheets (SDS).

• Foster and support a culture of safety, including safe practices and chemical hygiene.

• Assist in coating development by preparing formulations, applying coatings to sheets, and operating lab testing equipment under the guidance of chemists.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of science in chemistry or biochemistry.
