FARMWOKER, JOB DOES NOT START UNTIL, August 28, 2024. APPLICANT SHOULD RECEIVE A COPY OF THE JOB DESCRIPTION AND JOB REFERRAL BEFORE CALLING EMPLOYER CONTACT. All workers should be physically able to meet and perform the work outlined in the contract for the entire period of time from 08/28/2024 to 6/28/2025. Workers will be responsible for feeding and watering cattle. Monitor cattle and report any signs of injury or illness and monitor heat detection of livestock. Herd and confine cattle within stalls. Mix feed and additives, fill feed troughs and water cattle. Clean stalls and sheds. Maintain fences, gates, barns and other buildings on the farm.Illegal drugs are not permitted in any housing, worksite or vehicle. Post hire drug test will be performed upon accident, incidence or suspicion and will be at the employers expense. 3 months of verifiable experience working with cattle is required.. The confirmed wage offered is, $15.14 per hour. Wages are paid weekly. The employer guarantees to offer at least three fourths of the hours listed in the contract. Workers comp insurance will be provided. Employees must be able to work hours at a time in a standing, walking and stooping position. Employees must be able to frequently lift weights ranging from 20 to 75 pounds. The employer must provide free housing and three meals a day or furnish free convenient cooking facilities to all workers who are not reasonably able to return to their residence the same day. If the employer elects to provide meals, a maximum of $15.88 per day may be charged to the employee. The employer will provide the necessary tools, supplies and equipment at no cost to the worker. Experience: 3 months experience required working with foals, yearling preparation, and vaccinations.Employees are subject to random drug testing.
