Senior Operations LLC Radiographic Tech Level II in Burbank, California
Summary:
This occupation requires analyzing, interpreting, and evaluating radiographs of materials, parts, and welded parts, and welded parts for compliance with customer and company specifications and quality standards, and for developing techniques and standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Under general supervision, must be able to perform a variety of job duties including, but not limited to:
Interpret radiographs by:
o
Determining if the x-ray is quality radiography.
o
Through the evaluation of defects in material and determining the usability of same material.
o
Recognizing the differences between film defects and material defects.
Approves techniques and makes recommendations for higher quality radiography.
Accepts or rejects material in accordance with the governing specifications.
Trains others as needed as others such as level I and Trainee.
When necessary, order supplies.
Performs rework, repair and other operations with the work described.
Follow all Senior policies and procedure.
Other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience:
High School Degree or General Education Degree; or 40 hours radiography class and radiation safety course and or 3 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply a general understanding to carry out detailed, written and oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
