[We have an immediate opening for a Customer Service Representative. This position is the focal point for all customer transactions. From quoting, proposal generation and submission, small scale negotiations, to monitoring program performance, resolving customer issues by working with internal functional departments, communication of status to customer, and change management. Responsible for managing risk to the business regarding their customers. Assist with training as needed for new employees coming into the department. The Customer Service Representative reports to the Director, Global Sales and Marketing.

  • Ensures new and follow-on business is in line with company objectives
  • Preparation, review, and obtain Management signatures of NDA, PIA, and similar documents from customer
  • Working with Quote Admin, preparation of routine responses to quotes
  • Receipt and documentation of requests for quotation, information, or proposals
  • Extraction of key information from solicitations (contract timeline, delivery schedules, terms and conditions, standard of work, critical issues) for distribution to internal stakeholders
  • Collaborate with appropriate functional teams to manage the estimating/quoting process to meet customer dates
  • Conversion of estimates into price with awareness of competitiveness, profit targets, etc. (utilize business model when necessary)
  • Working with Director, Global Sales and Marketing, review of customer terms and conditions, preparation of counter terms and conditions with risk mitigation
  • Prepare final proposal for submission to customer

  • Ensure compliance with Uniform Commercial Code, Incoterms, FAR, DFAR, ITAR, EAR requirements
  • Analyze contract requirements, special provisions, and terms and conditions to ensure compliance with appropriate laws, regulations, corporate policies, and site specific procedures
  • Flow down contractual obligations and responsibilities within the business to ensure compliance to negotiated terms

  • Receive and maintain purchase orders, monitor purchase orders through review process in a timely manner
  • Analyze changes to contracts or purchase orders regarding potential liability exposure, impact of change
  • Act as central point of contact for customer to coordinate flow of communication with other functions, works with internal team to provide resolution to issues
  • Monitor customer scorecard for delivery and quality
  • Ensure customers aging accounts receivable is maintained at reasonable levels
  • Prepare, organize, and maintain contract records and files documenting contract performance and compliance
  • Will support customer visits to Bandy, and may be needed to support visits to Customers facilities
  • Add customer contact information and customer interactions to Bandy CRM program on a consistent basis
  • Participate in Marketing plan and execution of plan
