Job Description

Develops and delivers AECOM's brand and marketing strategy and plan for Buildings + Places. Uses a variety of channels and tactics (including digital) to strengthen our brand, increase positive awareness of the company, and achieve business objectives. Responsible for the delivery and measurement of: campaigns, public relations, events, marketing content, social media and product marketing to support work winning and client retention.

Job Summary

• Develops knowledge of organization, business processes and clients

• Creates marketing plans for specific campaigns identifying suitable channels and tactics

• Creates social media posts, artwork, brochures, collateral and other content using brand guidelines

• Develops in depth marketing skills across all channels and tactics

• Uses digital tools such as Google Analytics, website content management system, SEO tools and social media campaign management systems to deliver effective marketing activity

• Uses voice of client data and insight to support development of marketing and communications activity

• Analyzes data and draws inferences about marketing and client activities

• Understands role of client account management, growth and proposal teams and role of marketing in winning proposals and retaining clients

• Able to predict likely return and evaluate effectiveness of campaign activity

• Performs work in accordance with agreed objectives, budget and timescale with moderate supervision.

• Participates in team meetings to discuss strategic/campaign requirements and progress

• Proposes ideas to achieve business/campaign objectives

• Delivers internal and external comms activities

• Works on marketing activities and campaigns with little supervision

• Performs a self-check of work prior to submitting to others for review

Qualifications

• Educated to degree level or equivalent with marketing training or qualification

• 3-5 years of experience working in a similar role and position

• Self-starter with the ability to work as a positive, energized and adaptable team member

• Previous role within a global organization would be preferable but not essential

• Excellent organizational and time management skills, able to prioritize effectively

• Proven experience planning and producing social media content and campaigns

• Exceptional written and oral communications skills, ability to develop clear, concise copy

• Very strong attention to detail

• Highly proficient in English, both verbal and written

• Creative suite and/or multi-media production experience preferred

• Willingness and ability to work across multiple time zones
