Description We are on the lookout for a Sr. Accountant to join our team in BUFFALO, New York. The role is centered on maintaining financial reports, records, and general ledgers, preparing and analyzing budgets, and performing general bookkeeping, with an emphasis on accuracy and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Analyzing financial data as per request and providing comprehensive reports

• Assisting in the development of efficient monthly close procedures

• Conducting regular balance sheet reconciliations

• Preparing comprehensive annual audit schedules and addressing any relevant inquiries

• Ensuring accurate and timely preparation of monthly expense analysis

• Processing journal entries and performing bank reconciliations as needed

• Utilizing Microsoft Excel for various tasks and reports

• Maintaining an orderly and accurate accounting filing system. Requirements • Must hold a minimum of 3 years of experience in the field of accounting

• Proficiency in account reconciliation is essential

• Expertise in balance sheet reconciliation is required

• Experience in handling bank reconciliations is mandatory

• Must be adept at managing general ledger

• Experience in journal entries is a must-have skill

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is needed

• Experience in handling month-end close is required
