Hybrid - Buffalo, NYMoog has an opportunity for a Senior Supplier Quality Engineer to join our Central Supply Chain's Supplier Quality Excellence team. This position will work hand-in-hand with each of the Aerospace & Defense Operating Groups to ensure that Moog continues to consistently deliver the high-quality products that our customers expect for safety-critical applications.
In this role, you will report to the Director of Supplier Quality Excellence in East Aurora, NY.
As a Senior Supplier Quality Engineer you will:
-Support Moog's Indirect Procurement group to evaluate, monitor, and manage suppliers that provide indirect goods and services to Moog.
-Act as a Subject Matter Expert on escalated, systemic Root Cause/Corrective actions across the Moog Enterprise.
-Champion the design & development of a standardized global Supplier Quality (SQ) training program, primarily centered around:
- Supplier quality auditing skills
- Root cause Investigations
- Corrective action evaluations
- AS9100 Interpretation & application
- Moog's supplier quality policies and processes
- Outside Special Processing auditing and certification
- Support Supplier Quality Communities of Practice
To be considered for this role, you will need:
Minimum Bachelor's degree in a technical field relative to Quality Management, Engineering, or related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in Supplier Quality Engineering, quality assurance, or related area
Effective Verbal and Written Communication Skills
Strong knowledge of quality assurance processes and standards (ex. AS9100)
Project Management skills to handle multiple initiatives simultaneously
Familiarity with e-learning platforms, learning management systems, or other training technologies
Ability to work collaboratively with Moog's global Operating Groups
Ability to travel up to 30%

Salary Range Transparency:
Buffalo, NY $89,000.00-$125,000.00 AnnuallySalary Range Disclaimer
The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Moog salary range for this position in the given work location. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Moog's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, employee stock purchase plan, an open paid time off policy, and many region-specific benefits.
