Description We are seeking a Purchasing Agent to join our team based in Buffalo, New York. This role will involve working with accounting software systems and enterprise resource planning (ERP) solutions. The position offers a short term contract employment opportunity and is an integral part of our team that ensures efficient buying processes and effective budget management.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the purchasing process, ensuring all purchases are made in a timely and efficient manner.

• Utilize ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning systems to streamline and optimize purchasing activities.

• Work with accounting software systems to manage accounts payable and other accounting functions.

• Implement and manage the buying processes, ensuring all purchases are made according to company policies and budgetary guidelines.

• Use Sage Accounting Software to manage and process financial transactions.

• Manage and oversee the budget processes, ensuring all purchases are within budget and all financial records are accurately maintained.

• Utilize ERP Solutions to manage and streamline business processes.

• Develop and implement effective buying processes to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of purchasing activities.

• Collaborate with other team members to ensure all purchasing activities align with overall company goals and objectives.

• Resolve any issues or discrepancies with purchases or vendor accounts in a timely and efficient manner. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is a must

• Familiarity with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning

• Demonstrated experience with ERP Solutions

• Ability to handle Accounting Functions efficiently

• Knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP) processes

• Understanding of Budget Processes

• Experience in Buying Processes

• Proficiency in Sage Accounting Software is desirable
