Litelab Corp. Project Manager in Buffalo, New York

Buffalo. Litelab. PROJECT MANAGER. $55-$75k/yr. Benefits.

The primary role for this position is to serve as a single point of contact for all Design, Requests for Quotation, Sales Order Coordination, Correspondence and post-order follow-up and service requirements as needed. The successful candidate will work closely with Lighting Designers and Architects, Contractors, Sales Agents, and Distributors as well as internal Design Engineering, Production/Materials, Quality and Manufacturing departments.

Essential Duties: Client Management -Internal & External Develop professional relationships with Litelab Personnel, Independent Rep firms and Litelab customers. o Service clients by preparing quotes, organizing files, communicating with clients, and helping to solve client design issues. oWork closely with the customer, engineering and factory to manage expectations and coordinate labor to meet client needs oHelp order entry by defining product/project requirements that will be distributed to other Litelab departments. oCommunicate internally and externally any changes to an order. -Specifiers/lighting designers/architects/client reps oKnow the firm and understand the principles and who you will work with directly. oEnsure client understands how to utilize our product and what the product does so you can customize to customer needs -Distributors/Independent Reps and Sales Rep oUnderstand channels and how the products get distributed and go to market. oEnsure you have all the correct information at the time of the Request for Quote {RFQ}. oBe aware of sensitive client issues that need to be considered for pricing or bidding.

Project Management: -Learn Corporate PM System {Made to Manage and Odoo} while understanding technical product knowledge, the data entry and filing process. -Utilize technology including excel and project management skills to ensure a smooth and organized process -Responsible for entering orders into Made to Manage and Odoo systems once information is received from clients -Manage progress of an order prior and after the shipment to ensure a successful project -Interface internally with various departments to ensure order accuracy and on time delivery oData Integrity Is the sales order document accurate Do we have all the documentation we need for engineering and/or other departments within Litelab. Communication with the job site. If there are changes to the sales order, make sure the information is correct. -Attending project meetings, creating the agenda and be sure the correct parties are at the meeting. -Once the project is delivered and on-site, facilitate any conversations with the General Contractor and user/client about any challenges or questions about how to install the product.

Education: 4-year degree or combination of education and experience in PM Role. Experience in the electrical or construction industry is helpful. Minimum 5 years of high-end project management experience and Certificate in Project Management preferred.

Skills: -Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and accurately, work independently making sure to meet deadlines. -Self-motivated with time management and organizational skills -Works well and able to communicate with all levels of the organization -Take initiative and follow through on projects by responding to key internal and external stakeholders regarding project critical information via email or phone interactions. -Communicate and receive instructions verbally and electronically -The ability to effectively work with customers, offering solutions for them. -Proficiency with MS Office products -Good working knowledge of CAD and Solid Works is helpful
