Job Description:

Under the direction of the Supervisor, Manager, and Director of Patient Financial Services, this position is responsible for cash control for the facility. This position performs daily activities including cash collection, disbursement, deposit preparation, balancing, posting, calculating employee discounts, and employee ticket sales.

Minimum or Preferred Qualifications:

High School Diploma. Two (2) years experience in financial services or equivalent combination of education and experience. Data entry & clerical keyboard skills. Ability to calculate figures such as discounts, interest, and percentages accurately. Must possess knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and adding machine skills. Working knowledge of department specific patient accounting systems. Strong verbal and written communication skills required. This position requires independent thinking, resourcefulness, solid judgment, and problem solving.

For non-clinical positions and nursing support positions internal and external applicants must have the core competencies and sufficient work experience to perform in the per diem position for which they are applying.

$20.17-$30.08 per hour Wage will be determined based on factors such as candidate's experience, qualifications, internal equity, and any applicable collective bargaining agreement.
