Metal Locking Service is looking for a Metal Locking Trainee that is interested in learning a new and unique trade. Candidates have the opportunity to work full-time and receive on-the-job training. Metal Locker/machinist that can work with manual machining equipment. Individual will be trained on manual machining techniques (lathes, Mills, drills, etc.) and will also bee need to perform using on-site machining with portable equipment as 2nd man to assist while training.
Responsibilities: Will work with Metal Lockers/Machinists to learn manual machining, precise measuring and perform on-the-job contract jobs. Work with Metal Lockers/Machinists on site to perform tasks as needed. Some out of -town work including Canada and possibly other countries. Train on metal locking techniques. Work independently in the shop and or in the field to complete the jobs as needed
Candidate Requirements: High school diploma. Must be able to perform some heavy lifting. Must be able to turn, bend and stand for extended periods of time. Present a valid drivers license and have own reliable transportation. Must be able to pass a physical and drug screening.
