Job Description:

To perform clerical and patient care support of registering, processing, ordering and distributing clinical lab specimens and performs limited non-complex laboratory procedures.

Minimum or Preferred Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED required. Associate of Applied Science in laboratory technology preferred. 1 year of experience in a health care environment with direct patient care or laboratory involvement preferred; OR minimum of an associate degree (or equivalent) in a medical field or life sciences major from an accredited institution preferred; OR currently enrolled in the minimum of an associate degree (or equivalent) in a medical field or life sciences field from an accredited institution with at least part time status preferred. Data Entry Alpha Numeric (Hard Copy) Skills Test required for Flint Road Processors only.

Salary Range:

$21.93-$27.75 per hour Wage will be determined based on factors such as candidate's experience, qualifications, internal equity, and any applicable collective bargaining agreement.
