As a Lab Test Technician - Industrial, you will assist the R&D team by providing technical support to the global API organization in the verification of products thermal and hydraulic conformance, to required customer specifications.

Salary: Minimum $68,000 - Maximum $75,000

What You Will Do:
The Lab Test Technician - Industrial will be responsible for setting up and conducting thermal/hydraulic performance tests on various heat exchangers, for the purpose of provided best in class solutions to our customers.
Carry out thermal and hydraulic performance tests on heat exchangers like after coolers, oil coolers, radiators, etc.
Design and set up test rigs used in performing specialized testing
Assist with problem solving and performance data analysis
Contribute to lab improvements
Control and troubleshoot problems related to test stands and the lab equipment
Ensure proper calibration of all test equipment and advise when equipment is not functioning or out of calibration
Ensure the lab is kept safe and clean
What You Bring:
At least 2 years’ of experience working in an industrial lab environment and/or as an HVAC Technician (or related profession)
AAS Mechanical Engineering Technology or equivalent from an accredited college
Ability to interpret engineering drawings/documentation
Mechanical aptitude and an understanding of the principles of heat transfer technology
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Tools (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Strong mechanical aptitude and data analysis skills, as well as solution focused!
Bonus points if you have experience with LabVIEW or possess a Refrigeration certification!
Ability to work in an office and lab environment
Ability to lift 50lbs
