Our team in Corporate Group is looking for an IT Service Continuity and Resilience Analyst to join them. You will report to the IT Compliance Manager and will have a hybrid work schedule. This role requires you to be on site at our corporate headquarters in East Aurora, New York, several days each week.

In this role, you will identify and prioritize critical IT services and their dependencies. You will develop and maintain contingency plans, collaborating closely with stakeholders to address their needs. These plans will ensure rapid recovery in case of disruptions. Additionally, you will regularly test these plans to verify their effectiveness and ensure the organization is prepared to implement them. You will also report on key metrics to ensure adherence to necessary business processes.

To be considered for the IT Service Continuity and Resilience Analyst role, here's what you'll typically need to bring with you:

  • Typically, a bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
    • A combination of experience and education, or equivalent professional experience, may also be considered.
  • 3+ years of experience supporting similar functions, ideally with experience in the areas of Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity, Cyber Security, or IT Service Management.
  • Proficient knowledge of Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity standards, as well as operational resilience standards such as ISO, BSI, or NIST, and regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively, including planning, executing, and monitoring complex projects with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
  • Preferred certifications: BCI/DRII, ITIL, or ISACA.

As an IT Service Continuity and Resilience Analyst, you will:

  • Execute Business Impact Analysis processes to identify and prioritize IT services and their dependencies that enable critical business processes.
  • Develop and maintain information systems contingency plans ensuring they are up-to-date and effective.
  • Organize and execute regular testing activities that validate the effectiveness of disaster recovery and contingency plans and ensure organizational readiness to execute these plans.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams to integrate service continuity and resilience processes and procedures into IT infrastructure, application design, and overall organizational planning.
  • Report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics that ensure necessary business processes are followed.
  • Provide training and support to staff on disaster recovery and business continuity procedures, ensuring a clear understanding of roles and responsibilities.
  • Act as a key member of the incident response team, supporting rapid recovery efforts during disasters or major IT disruptions.

Salary Range Transparency:

Buffalo, NY $80,000.00-$100,000.00 Annually

Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Moog's total compensation package for employees.
