Honeywell IP Protection Manager in Buffalo, New York

The IP Protection Manager shall be responsible for (i) overseeing compliance of all IP and technical information transferred from Honeywell to an external joint venture. In addition, they will ensure Joint Venture and Joint Venture employee compliance with decisions of the Patent Committee or Honeywell . They will oversee development of R&D programs to support the maintenance of the High-tech Enterprise Certification status of the Joint Venture, perform regular and systematic evaluation of the operating results of the technology organization, and lead and manage a highly-skilled technology team for all R&D programs. Finally they will (vi) assist the Deputy General Manager of the JV in intellectual property protection related matters; and other responsibilities as may be determined.

U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization

YOU MUST HAVE

  • PhD in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or related field.

  • 7+ years of experience leading technical organizations, with strong understanding of IP.

  • Bi lingual (English and Chinese) mandatory.
