Delaware North HR Manager, PGA and Patina Catering in Buffalo, New York

The Opportunity

Delaware North's Patina Restaurant Group is searching for an experienced Human Resources Manager to join our enterprise HR team to provide support specific to PGA Of America and Patina Catering. Our ideal candidate has a thorough understanding of HR policy and procedures and is an effective communicator and influencer of associates at all levels of an organization. We are eager to find an HR Manager who easily connects with people and has a detail-oriented mindset to handle the changing nature of our organization and the workforce. This role will have primary responsibility for team member and temp hiring, on-boarding, compliance, temporary agency vendor relations, non-profit group relations, and being the connector between the location and our HR team. In addition, this role will work closely with operations leadership in the planning for each event to determine the proper workforce levels and schedules well in advance of the event to ensure the proper channels are engaged to meet event staffing levels.

Pay

Minimum – Anticipated Maximum Base Salary: $81900 - $110600 / year

In addition to base salary, we offer an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. Responsibilities

  • Partner with Talent Acquisition to attract, hire, and on-board new team members.

  • Create and maintain relationships with staffing companies and third-party vendors to hire seasonal/temporary staff.

  • Handle all associate relations matters and complaints, including conducting investigations and complaint resolution.

  • Ensure compliance with federal and state employment regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.

  • Participate in internal auditing and the maintenance and safeguarding of associate files.

  • Act as a connector between the location and our enterprise HR team, advocating and educating for consistent and best practice policies and practices and sharing insights and knowledge unique to the location.

  • With operations leadership, set effective workforce management plan to ensure each event is properly staffed.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 7-10 years HR management experience with at least 3 years HR Generalist experience.

  • Experience hiring short term, seasonal, or temporary employees through staffing agencies and third party vendors required, along with workforce planning and scheduling for each events.

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources management or related field preferred; PHR or SPHRcertification is a plus.

  • Seeking experience with PeopleSoft HRIS and ICIMS ATS or similar preferred; Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required.

  • Must be willing and able to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

  • Must be willing to travel close to 100% annually in May and June, with 25% travel for planning activities the rest of the year.

  • During events, may be working in all types of weather conditions, requiring continuous walking outdoors.
