Salary: Min: $65,000 - Max$75,000

What You Will Do:
The Design Engineer will support strategic and ongoing customer engagements by providing designs, calculations, drawings, BOMs, etc. for both conventional and complex product initiatives.
Use ASME code calculations to fulfill complex customer specifications, as well as develop calculation tools for applications where calculation tools do not exist
Prepare simple and complex layouts for components and subassemblies with focus on designing for cost and manufacturability
Partner with manufacturing, purchasing, application engineering, and sales to deliver customer projects
Support the team with validating each other’s output, analysis of results, and other efforts to produce world-class products
Contribute to setting project team priorities and provide technical leadership
Collaborate with internal teams to construct project scope and determine costs and manufacturing feasibility
What You Bring:
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME)
or Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering Technology (BSMET)
Proficiency in Solidworks
Collaborative, analytical, and solution focused
Experience in a Lean Manufacturing environment desired
Experience in ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel design a plus
Specializing in Heat Exchangers preferred.
