Regional International Corp Body Shop Technician in Buffalo, New York
Buffalo. Regional International. Body Shop Technician. $20 - $30/hour.
The Body Shop Technician is an integral part of the Service Department team. This position is crucial in achieving customer satisfaction by applying high-level vehicle body repair and refinishing expertise to repairs of medium- and heavy-duty trucks and trailers. The Body Shop Technician is responsible for completing repairs within the allotted timeframe, assessing vehicle damage, determining a course of action for repairs, and the ability to work respectfully with other departments, vendors, customers and co-workers.
Qualifications that a candidate MUST possess to gain consideration for this position: * Minimum of 2 years experience in vehicle body repair and restoration, including paint techniques, fiberglass, and metal work * Rate is based on experience. * High degree of product and technical knowledge * Ability to use a personal computer, a general understanding of Microsoft Office software programs, and the ability to learn other database or proprietary software programs as needed * Excellent follow-through, problem solving and organizational skills * Must be self-motivated with good written and verbal communication skills * Must be a team player with a strong sense of commitment to the customer, and to performing required tasks accurately and professionally * Must conduct him/herself in a professional manner. * Valid New York State Drivers License
