Dow has an exciting job opportunity as a Treasury Administrative Specialist that could be based in Buenos Aires (ARG).
About you and this role - What you would do in this role
The successful candidate will provide general administrative support to the Treasury function in Latin America. Responsibilities also include supporting invoices management, handling requests for information, preparing travel schedules and scheduling meetings. This role also requires abilities in discretion and independent judgment in managing flow of work. Requires full proficiency gained through job-related training and considerable on-the-job experience to perform a range of tasks under limited supervision.
Responsibilities:
Provides administrative assistance to the Treasury Director and the team in LA by anticipating needs and taking appropriate action to effectively manage daily responsibilities (e.g. calendar, organization/preparation/consolidation/coordination of input and activities to meet deadline commitments, facilitate and attend meetings).
Provides a wide variety of secretarial/administrative support to leaders, employees, or groups in the organization, including receiving, screening and directing incoming calls, visitors, mail and email.
Effectively network with administrative professionals within Treasury/Finance to meet deadlines, jointly coordinate meetings, share key learnings, and provide back-up support assistance within Finance when needed.
Prepares and submits expense reports, and monitors and tracks expenses in Concur and resolves issues or discrepancies.
Monitors and tracks expenses against budgets and provides reports to cost center owner or budget manager.
Support with Admin support in Onboarding/Offboarding employees from Treasury.
Prepares correspondence, communications, reports, presentations, agenda, minutes and responses to inquiries on behalf of supported team members with limited oversight.
May acts as the department focal point with external vendors, contractors, or service providers.
Participates in different Treasury projects as support, working independently and in cooperation with other team members to complete projects and assignments in a timely manner.
Support to FinOps Team for "Know your customer" (KYC) Bank's form and other Banks documentation / administrative request
Responsible for processing and maintaining up-to-date personnel information (e.g., distribution lists, file servers, building list, etc.) and team communication mechanisms.
Handle and maintain highly confidential information.
Organizes and independently manages the details of internal meetings, training and domestic/international travel itineraries.
Organize and independently manage agenda and travel itineraries for visitors from outside Argentina/Brazil.
Coordinate and create new vendors invoice process definition and payment.
Request purchase orders; Generate Vouchers payment in SAP, manages invoice workflow and approval. Receive Treasury vendors invoice, validate with focal point amount, include data in SAP system, follow the process until payment.
Support Treasury team for Insurance payments and administrative process.
Keep all finance invoice controls updated.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree (any area of study)
4 years of previous experience in an administrative assistant role is required.
Fluent Spanish
Advanced English (reading/writing/speaking)
Advance Portuguese (will be considered a plus)
Proficiency in Microsoft applications, such as Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and SAP (preferable).
Preferred Skills:
Able to communicate and relate well with those internal and external to the company.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to quickly build relationships.
Strong time management and organization skills.
Able to handle multiple priorities from multiple sources.
Must be an organized self-starter exhibiting good judgement and the flexibility to adapt to priority changes and demands.
Active participation in volunteer activities will be considered a plus
