We are currently seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Controller at Videojet Technologies. This pivotal position plays a key and vital role overseeing all aspects of financial management for our subsidiary in Villa Ballester, Buenos Aires, Argentina. This role involves accounting, financial reporting, budget and forecasts preparation, as well as the development of internal control policies, regulatory and procedures.

In this role, you will:

• Manage all accounting operations including accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, payroll, banking, cost accounting, inventory accounting, and revenue recognition

• Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances, work with the business to track financial performance and provide financial information, forecasting and analysis to help guide decision making and set strategy

• Prepare and deliver timely monthly financial statements

• Prepare month-end and year-end close process

• Manage and comply with Argentinian government regulations and tax filings

• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls

• Ensure a strong accounting and operational control environment

• Work with external and internal auditors and assist with year-end audit preparations and financial statements.

• Directly manage a team of 14 associates

Are you qualified?

• Proven working experience as Financial Controller

• Minimum of 3+ years of overall combined accounting and finance experience

• Degree in accounting, CPA preferred.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

• Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end and year-end close process.
