Citigroup Vulnerability Threat Management Analyst in Budapest, Hungary

The Vulnerability Threat Management Analyst is responsible for leading efforts to prevent, monitor and respond to information/data breaches and cyber-attacks. The overall objective of this role is to ensure the execution of Information Security directives and activities in alignment with Citi's data security policy.

What you will do:

  • Create daily analysis of critical vulnerabilities based on various inputs and intel.

  • Coordinate the analysis and delivery of Information Security Vulnerability Findings to customers with interpretative information security analysis.

  • Write a daily open event report, and ensure events are closed by monitoring them and following up.

  • Provide reports and metrics based on various inventories, scan results, and vulnerability data.

  • Maintain strong working relationships with IT engineering, operations, and other stakeholders to remediate Information Security and Vulnerability Findings

  • Working with senior management to coordinate and lead vulnerability management forums with operations and engineering leads as required to resolve outstanding/pending issues before requiring further escalation.

  • Create and maintain operational reports for Key Performance Indicators and weekly/monthly metrics.

  • Track remediation status of vulnerabilities affecting the company.

  • Manage the special/priority requirements for Fusion Centre and for senior management.

  • Revise and update related documentation.

  • Support the organization through internal and external audits of the various processes and procedures in use.

  • Create or modify policies and rules that increase the efficiency of the control environment.

  • Perform monitoring, research, assessment and analysis of issues.

Your profile:

  • 1-3 years of relevant experience

  • Good knowledge of descriptive statistics.

  • Strong knowledge of SQL/ Database.

  • Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience.

  • Knowledge of computer hardware and software including the understanding of application and patch development, and architecture.

  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office tools and software

  • Knowledge of programming and/or scripting languages – Python preferred.

  • Proven ability to articulate and translate technical requirements to business leaders.

  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication.

  • Proven analytical skills.

  • Fluent English.

  • Understanding of basic concepts of Computer Science.

  • Experience with or knowledge of scanning tools: Qualys, Snyk etc. preferred.
