Boehringer Ingelheim Sales Manager Livestock and KAM Avian in Budapest, Hungary

The Opportunity:

Are you highly experienced in the field of Avian and able to manage Boehringer Ingelheim’s Livestock sales team?

Main responsibilities:

Sales Manager Livestock and Key Account Manager Avian position is responsible for managing Boehringer Ingelheim’s Livestock sales team and for the key account management of our Avian franchise. The position directly reports to the Head of Animal Health Hungary. The job location is Hungary.

  • manage the FPA channel sales team and motivate them to deliver budget and expected sales results

  • maintain & develop mutually beneficial long-term partnerships with our customers.

  • manage direct relationship with Avian Key Accounts and deliver the overall Avian franchise targets

  • deliver agreed sales growth & market share gains

  • ensure close co-operation with the Marketing and Technical team (local, RCV)

Requirements:

  • 5+ years' experience in Commercial positions (Pharmaceutical Industry/Animal Health Business experience is an advance)

  • preferably veterinary background

  • ability to lead and direct strategy across various customer/segments

  • strong and active relationship in the field of Avian business

  • technical knowledge on FPA products, especially on Avian portfolio

  • ability to coach and motivate people & hold people accountable

  • ability to question the status quo and bring new ideas and implement it

  • goal-oriented & customer-centric

  • ability to lead changes

  • ability to grow others

  • ability to build/manage/maintain effective teams

  • demonstrates business acumen

  • strong communication skills in order to facilitate excellent cross unit team working
