What is the job about?

As a Purchasing Controller supporting Indirect Purchasing organizations, you will play an important part in role in our Group Purchasing Excellence organization. This position is crucial for providing actionable insights and strategic recommendations to enhance efficiency, optimize costs, and ensure stakeholder satisfaction. There is also the potential for this role to evolve into leadership position.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Develop and Implement Reporting Tools: Enhance the value of shared data and improve reporting efficiency.

  • Market and Internal Analysis: Conduct thorough analyses focusing on price opportunities, TCO, and cost drivers for indirect goods.

  • Insight Generation and Recommendations: Provide insights for sustainable cost reductions and KPI optimizations.

  • Reporting and Presentation: Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations on various outlooks.

  • Budgeting and Performance Tracking: Support the budgeting cycle and track performance against targets.

  • Indirect Procurement Support: Provide reporting support and extract information from databases and data warehouses to identify and correct anomalies.

  • Power BI Visualization: Develop precise front-end visualizations using Power BI.

Your background:

We imagine that you have:

  • A BA or MSC degree in Finance, or related fields.

  • Minimum of 3-5+ years of experience in Indirect sourcing and Controlling in large multinational companies.

  • Established history of guiding breakthroughs and cultivating measurable performance metrics.

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and Power BI.

  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Outstanding proficiency in English.

  • Ability to work efficiently and as part of a cross-cultural team.

  • Experience in providing effective training and development.

  • Background in a larger corporation (experience from smaller national companies is not preferred).

  • Familiarity with SAP transactions, experience with Business Warehouse reports
