You will take part in the application operation, maintenance and development processes of an established banking core system. These tasks include service request, incident, application management activities as well as reading, understanding the code and making modifications in it.

Who You Are

You’re good at what you do and possess the required experience to prove it. However, equally as important – you have a growth mindset; keen to drive your own personal and professional development. Required Skills and Experience

  • Knowledge of COBOL as primary programming language,

  • Fluency in English (written and verbal),

  • 4-7 years of application operation, maintenance and/or programming in banking/financial sector,

  • 3 years practice in relational data base programming, preferably DB2,

  • Experience in the z/OS environment: JCL, TSO,

  • Experience in program development using TSO/ISPF and COBOL,

  • Experience in data base programming techniques including SQL and IMS/DLI,

  • Understanding the architecture and operation of a banking core system,

  • Experience in Easytrieve report generator,

  • Experience in ITX/WTX data transformation tool

  • Bachelor's Degree (IT or banking related).

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Preferred Education: Master's Degree,

  • Knowledge of finnish language,

  • Experience with ITIL.
