JOB SCOPE AND MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

Local accounting point of contact for GBS and all other parties. Having the Powers of Attorney and approvals rights based on the management decision.

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES AND RELATED ACTIVITIES:

  • Review of local contracts and agreements, ensuring proper coordination with GBS for postings

  • Working closely with all GBS Processes to ensure procedures and process improvements, liaising with local business functions – partly (AP, AR)

  • AP invoices checks and approval

  • PO and POR approvals based on the rights (POA)

  • Accounting Project management on dedicated streams with GBS and Business on specific topics, monitoring business flows – supported by externals

  • Assisting Finance Manager with Budgeting/Forecasting, providing info requested from the Controlling department

  • Cash flow forecasting and other banks accounts management activities (payments list preparation, bank payments reconciliation and similar)

  • Supporting GBS and Controlling on month-end closing process (only AP)

  • Support externals on providing Audit documentations

  • Checks on CZ and SK VAT

  • Identify and resolve issues, not only report problems

  • First referent of local needs

  • Key role in guaranteeing local signoffs of documents (where not provided by externals)

  • VAT compliance documentation

  • Internal Representation Letter

  • Audit Representation Letter

  • Statutory Financial Statements

  • Other tasks based on the business needs

NETWORK OF INTERACTION:

INTERNAL : all departments

EXTERNAL : GBS, consulatnts and other vendors, tax and governement offices, and other parties involved

TECHNICAL SKILLS

WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS THAT THE IDEAL CANDIDATE SHOULD HAVE?

  • Educational Background in Economics as preferable

  • At least 5 years of experience in similar jobs

  • Strong problem solving skills

  • Solid experience with Excel

LANGUAGES:

English – advanced level
