We built a brand new manufacturing facility on the outskirts of Miskolc in 2023, which includes assembly and office accommodation. Our Miskolc facility is a key regional facility for the driveline technologies that GKN Automotive supply to our global customer base. What will you be doing in this role?

• Acquire favorable terms, volume discounts and long-term contracts with suppliers locally

• Negotiate specific local requirements for plant implementation and apply automotive agreements

• Ensure all necessary supplier and goods information are correctly registered in the plant ERP (and relevant systems if applicable) on timely manner

• In charge of costing and sourcing process of CAPEX (RFQ, negotiations, supplier nomination process (SNC)

• Monitor suppliers financial performance and SLA performance, building up and driving ongoing supplier panel optimization and continuous improvement at plant level

Specific experience that will set you up for success in this role:

• Proficient in English is necessary,

• Solid experience as (in)direct buyer in a large manufacturing environment

• Negotiation skills - experienced in complex negotiation and contractual agreements
