Citigroup Global Controllers CAO Digital & EUC Governance - Assistant Vice President in Budapest, Hungary
The Global Digital Team is part of the Global Controllers Chief Administrative Office (GCCAO) organization and is responsible for managing various initiatives and driving transformation mainly via designing and developing automated solutions. The Team seeks to be a catalyst for change and drive global end-to-end process transformation. The Global Digital Team is managing the lifecycle of use cases, by exploring and prioritizing new projects, by designing and developing the digital solutions and actively supporting the end users during the process.
End User Computing solutions (EUCs) are user prepared processes/calculations which operate outside of the company’s internal systems. It includes for example Excel spreadsheets and programming languages. System automation/retirement of EUCs is one of the firm’s main objectives as it decreases operational risk, can contribute to time savings and is also part of regulatory requirements. As part of the Global Digital Team you will take a key role in the EUC remediation initiative.

Responsibilities:
Tracking the End User Computing (EUC) inventory by actively communicating with EUC owners/program managers/technology teams to understand EUC retirement initiatives and timelines
Provide frequent updates to senior management and other stakeholders about the expected EUC remediation and assisting in preparation of forecast of digital use cases and communicate potential resource requirements in relation of the EUC retirement targets
Identify any risks regarding program changes and develop a strategy to overcome or address them
Learn and obtain knowledge of the respective digital tools; coordinate the development of digital tool(s) specialties
Create and update EUC governance materials, take ownership for EUC tracking tool updates
Work with EUC owners in obtaining EUC details & status, take ownership for EUC retirement governance
Take an active role in EUC surveys/deep dives to understand potential EUC remediation options
Follow, understand and communicate the latest EUC compliance rules and requirements
Ensuring consistency in the processes and methodologies that are deployed
Provide timely and appropriate escalation, identify, and highlight concerns around the initiatives
Lead user engagement and participation initiatives
Identify any risks regarding changes and develop a strategy to overcome or address them
Supporting the various line teams globally to improve their understanding of the impact of emerging technologies and industry trends and provide recommendations and solutions for how to adopt new standards and requirements
Understand the Digital online use case tool functionalities and the digital solution lifecycle requirements (for example CSDLC documentation)
Use your experience and knowledge to drive and contribute to outstanding team performance
Define and build out relevant training programs
Ideal background:
At least 5-7 years of relevant professional experience
A university or college degree in Finance/Accounting is an advantage but not a must as we are open to other majors
Good command of spoken and written English
Confident analytical and communication skills
Strong governance, project management and organization skills
Controls focused mind-set
Strong PC skills in Excel, Word. Training will be provided on other in house and industry standard systems used in this position.
Strong interest to work with the business and control teams to implement automation and digitalization
