As Global Category Buyer, TTM (Total Talent Management) you will be responsible for the category of spend in you portfolio, 100+ M€, to support the implementation of sourcing strategies according to category management roadmap as well as leading sourcing activities across all business units at global level and lead supplier relationship management with the Global Lead Buyers and the Global Category Manager.

This position focuses on the sourcing of Total Talent Management services (contingent workers/temporary workers, freelancers, managed services/contractors, recruitment services), while coordinating the building and roll-out of proper sourcing tactics / buying channels (including Tail Spend Management), in line with the category strategies at Global level.

Main responsibilities:

Operations Management:

  • Ensure the implementation and operational follow-up of action plans derived from the strategies defined by the Category Management and/or Procurement Business Partners, in close collaboration with the procurement network and stakeholders

  • Provide support to the Global Lead Buyer of the category to ensure the execution of the strategy and sourcing execution

  • Data crunching: collect, clean, organize and analyze large volumes of raw data and prepare business insights

  • Deliver savings pipeline in line with targets

  • Lead global RFIs/RFPs and contract negotiations for your domain/category

  • Report on status, savings, performance, and risks on the sourcing activities you are in charge of

  • Stay informed on current industry trends and new market developments related to your category area

  • Undertake benchmarking against other industries and best practices

  • Run robust Supplier Management with business reviews & performance management, ensure mastery of Procurement technical excellence (TCO, SRM, Market Intel, Risk Management, Innovation, CSR, HSE, compliance, quality, etc.)

  • Work closely with procurement services to leverage as much as possible the middle and back-offices services

Stakeholder Management:

  • Develop strong partnership with your key internal customers, and foster two-way supportive relationships with them

  • Presents Procurement strategies to key internal customers for review and input

About you

Experience :

  • 5+ years' experience in Procurement or related field

Soft Skills/ Technical skills:

  • Technical knowledge of the category/domain, good understanding of finance and legal aspects 

  • Results oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Flexible, receptive, resourceful, creative, and results oriented 

  • Transversal/ Project Management 

  • Very good communication and negotiation  skills

  • Able to quickly assimilate new information/skills  and readily adapts to new environment, processes, ways of working

  • Team player with excellent interpersonal sensitivity 

Education:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree from accredited University (master degree is preferred)

Languages :

  • Fluency in English is a must. Any second European Language like French or German (at proficient level) is a plus
