Eaton Corporation Continuous Improvement Lead Analyst (HR processes) in Budapest, Hungary

The Continuous Improvement Lead Analyst plays a pivotal role in supporting global standard HR processes, driving continuous improvement, and achieving Eaton’s strategic objectives. As a key contributor, the incumbent will participate in Business Process Improvement (BPI) and Kaizen events, ensuring alignment with the overall HR structure and strategy. Responsibilities include planning and executing process improvement projects, as well as actively participating in new HR implementations following Eaton’s Continuous Improvement Standards.

What you’ll do:

HR Operational Excellence / Continuous Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities for process enhancements, waste reduction, and cost savings across the HR function.

  • Leverage Lean/Six Sigma strategies and Eaton’s Business System (EBS) tools to drive efficiency.

  • Conduct current state analyses, compare with best practices, and support implementation of standardized business processes.

  • Collaborate with HR/COE teams to establish and improve harmonized processes using lean techniques (e.g., value stream mapping, process mapping).

  • Ensure accurate documentation of detailed procedures and working instructions for HR processes.

  • Support change management strategies during process implementations - ensuring implementation communications are completed and supporting the planning and setting up Sprints, retrospective meetings, and daily meetings.

CI Capability Building:

  • Contribute to enhancing CI functional competency in HR by utilizing EBS tools effectively.

  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the HR function.

  • Coordinate with the corporate EBS team to embrace elements of the Continuous Improvement Framework (CIF), Six Sigma, and Lean tools.

  • Incorporate relevant tools, resources, and instructional materials into standard work.

Digitalization and Technology Support:

  • Identify opportunities for digitalization and automation within HR processes.

  • Participate in pilot programs aimed at automating tasks, processes, and data flows.

  • Support reporting aligned with CI programs to monitor efficiency and productivity improvements, and gather reporting requirements for future enhancements.

  • Analyzing and submitting requests for ServiceNow enhancements based on HR and HRS requests, considering user experience, business case and global standardization.

Qualifications:

  • University Degree in HR, Psychology, Business Administration, Engineering desired, other areas welcome

  • 3-5 years of experience with process improvement and/or technology implementations

  • Experience with HR processes is desired

  • Fluency in English and in Hungarian is required

  • Passion for Continuous Improvement

Skills:

  • Knowledgeable and experienced with Lean/ Six Sigma tools – SS/ Lean Green belt certification preferred

  • Demonstrated ability for effective change management.

  • Skilled at metrics and data analysis

  • Project Management skills

  • Strong customer service and customer experience focus, organizational and communication skills

  • Demonstrate strong process and results orientation in terms of ownership of accomplishments, juggling multiple priorities and sharing of knowledge

  • Strong problem solving, conflict resolution skills

  • Able to collaborate with peer resources.

  • Technical aptitude to learn, understand and develop in HR platforms and technologies such as ServiceNow, Visier, etc.

  • Understanding and working knowledge of ServiceNow, HRMS, SuccessFactors and other key HR support processes and systems desirable
