As Regional Category Buyer Human Resource (HR) Services for International & Asia regions you will be responsible for implementing sourcing strategies according to category management strategies and leading sourcing for the category of spend & geographic scope assigned, and across all business units. This includes activities such as partnering with the internal business teams to support their objectives, assist with building project scopes, consolidate all business needs and specification, conduct Global Request for Proposal (RFP), negotiate contracts renewals, rate cards / discount schedules, and manage overall relationships with key suppliers.

The overall spend under your supervision is about 10M€ spend/year . This position part of Professional Services (PS) Domain and will report to the PS Regional Category Manager for International & Asia Regions.

Main responsibilities:

Operations Management:

  • Support the Global Lead Buyer or the Regional Category Manager of the category to ensure the strategy's execution

  • Deliver savings pipeline in line with targets

  • Data crunching: Collect, clean, organize and analyze large volumes of raw data and apply analysis tools to the data to glean business insights

  • Lead RFIs/RFPs and contract negotiations for the category

  • Contributes to and/or lead local projects according to Category Management 

  • Report on status, savings, performance, and risks on the sourcing activities

  • Stay informed on current industry trends and new market developments related to your category area, undertake benchmarking against other industries and best practices

  • Run SRM program with suppliers

  • Support pre/post-audit management, crisis management  

Stakeholder Management

  • Develop strong partnership with your key internal customers, and foster two-way supportive relationships with them

  • Presents Procurement strategies to key internal customers for review and input

About you

Experience :

  • 2+ years' experience in Procurement or related field

Soft Skills/ Technical skills:

  • Knowledge of best-in-class Procurement techniques and processes  

  • Results oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Analytic advanced skills for data crunching purpose (Excel, Power BI, Thinkcell etc.)

  • Flexible, receptive, resourceful, creative, and results oriented 

  • Very good communication, presentation and negotiation  skills

  • Able to quickly assimilate new information/skills  and readily adapts to new environment, processes, ways of working

  • Team player with good interpersonal sensitivity 

Education:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree from accredited University (master degree is preferred)

Languages :

  • Fluency in English is a must. Any second European/ local language (at proficient level) is a plus
