Team/Role Overview
Liquidity management team provides analytical support to the senior management to meet the existing and new regulatory and internal requirements through the oversight of the liquidity ratios. The task includes trend analysis and assessment which can result in suggestions to the relevant decision makers.
The Funds Transfer Pricing team establishes, oversees, and manages the methodologies and policies under which sources and uses are transfer priced based on interest rates, liquidity, and capital frameworks.
What you’ll do
Contribute to the governance of funding, investing and analytics of the balance sheet. This includes:
Participate in managing liquidity and interest rate risk, the capital/legal entity structure and capital planning.
Analyze and oversee the production of Legal Entity's regulatory returns done by the Regulatory Reporting and internal liquidity MIS, including a comprehensive understanding of Citi’s internal stress testing assumptions as well as the evolving regulatory liquidity risk world.
Work with the Finance Desks, Risk Treasury, Corporate Treasury Funding, and other businesses to keep the Legal Entity within the regulatory requirements, manage liquidity optimally and ensure global consistency where relevant.
Participate in developing new reporting processes, improve existing processes and controls.
Serve as a team member within the Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP) team with a specific focus on Funding/Financing and Reporting.
Act as an interface to Business and be able to: i) explain FTP policy to businesses; ii) understand and communicate the FTP/Liquidity Risk aspects of new trade structures with businesses; iii) work directly with other finance teams to implement new FTP systems and policies.
What we’ll need from you
Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting or related field
2+ years of experience in Finance
Good understanding of liquidity and balance sheet management practices
Must have advanced analytical skills but also the ability to see the big picture
Excellent communication skills are imperative i.e. ability to make complex subjects easily digestible for senior management
Exercises proven Power Point and Excel skills
Coding knowledge such as SQL, VBA and KNIME will be an advantage
