BlackRock Analyst/Associate - Business Management in Budapest, Hungary

About this role

The Budapest office Business Management team is responsible for the smooth operation of the office and supporting maximizing functional value creation. It is at the heart of facilitating a positive office atmosphere and high levels of employee engagement.

The team is accountable for the efficient running of daily office activities in conjunction with delivery of both strategic and tactical initiatives in support of the development of the Budapest Office. Also aligned to the EMEA Country Managers organization, the team are responsible for developing cross location strategies and ensuring the effective collaborative across our offices in the EMEA region.

The successful candidate will report into the Head of Budapest and join the existing Business Management function. He/she will partner with the Business Management colleagues.

  • Work in a culture of openness, inclusion and hands-on engagement at all levels.

  • Develop strong relationships with the various corporate / infrastructure groups and teams, at local and global level as well as other country business managers.

  • Tackle and solve complex problems in an ever-changing environment, with a target on process optimization, data & technology in a pragmatic approach.

Specifically, this role includes:

  • Ensuring a safe operating environment for the Budapest office by overseeing the governance framework e.g. drive the business continuity management, mandatory statistical reports, audits and the Governance Framework for the Budapest office.

  • Collaborating on country-led projects and daily tasks to guarantee projects are delivered on time and processes are executed with high quality, aligning with management's expectations.

  • Contribute to the development and monitoring of performance metrics for the region. Deliver regular management information reports. Maintain governance and management information reporting related process descriptions.

  • Prepare for senior management and visitor sessions, and associated materials.

  • Supporting effective employee communication through various channels like townhalls, forums, websites, newsletters, etc..

  • Being a champion of the company culture within the office and region, lead by example and promote the company's values and principles

Key Skills:

  • Excellent organisational and project management skills with a proven ability to own multiple tasks concurrently and prioritize effectively.

  • Experience in working with and developing strong and positive relationships with both internal and external partners.

  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) to work directly with clients and across all levels of staff and management. Ability to convey complex concepts simply and clearly to target audience.

  • Entrepreneurial spirit and willingness to take on further responsibility quickly, focus on continuous improvement and process innovation, deal with ambiguity.

  • Strong social and IT skills such as Microsoft Office applications, ability to self-manage workloads and work to deadlines.
