Brown-Forman Supply Chain and Planning Specialist Romania_NLNB in Bucharest, Romania

Meaningful Work From Day One:

Responsible for supporting the RomaniaNLNB commercial team in all topics related to Demand and Supply Planning for all Brown-Forman (BF) brands for business unit (RONLNB) customers. Collaborate with the commercial team and customers to develop and improve demand forecasts using statistical analysis and help manage local inventory and supply, collaborating with the global supply planning and local supply chain customer teams.

For Romania in particular, this role is also responsible for developing and maintaining relations with the Romanian Customs & Tax office and local Distributor to support all daily Operations of the Supply Chain with a focus on inbound deliveries (intra-community supply), excise tax management, strip stamps application and all regulatory and customs procedures & reporting, OOS management.

What You Can Expect:

  • Collaborate with the commercial team and customers to develop and improve demand forecasts using statistical analysis and help manage local inventory and supply, collaborating with the global supply planning and local supply chain customer teams. Support monthly IBP process according to calendar

  • Conduct periodical forecast reviews with the commercial team to:

  • Provide trend analysis

  • Obtain market insights

  • Update SKU alignments

  • Successfully launch new products

  • Challenge the forecast updates by customer (considering budget, category and market trends, new product launches, etc.).

  • Collaborate with US Customer service to ensure stock is being ordered, produced, and shipped according to the forecasts providing visibility of open orders and in-transit shipments to relevant internal and external stakeholders. Manage allocations with limited availability.

  • Support local projects with supply chain impact during conception, implementation, and execution, such as NPD or Portfolio Changes, Packaging Changes, RTC changes, Trade Contingencies, etc., and liaise with corp./reg. Supply Chain teams to timely obtain appropriate support and guidance.

  • Place orders for BF Romania and monitor on-time order placement by the distributor. Monitor and track timely inbound flows and ensure pro-active exception reporting, acting as the contact person for Corporate Customer Service, local B-F Team, and local Distributor

  • Manage strip stamps acquisition process & reporting. Execute SAP movement in the area of strip stamping and inventory management (acquisition, allocation of the bottles, losses, etc.)

  • Ensure customs and excise tax compliance. Proactively monitor the upcoming legislation changes in terms of product supply and labeling and work with internal and external stakeholders to apply

What You Bring to the Table:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Business, Finance, Supply Chain Management, Accounting or a related field

  • Deep knowledge of planning, customs, strip stamps, and excise tax requirements for the spirits industry

  • Strong interpersonal skills; able to develop and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of internal and external contacts and with diverse cultures

  • SAP/APO Experience
