IBM Product Marketer, IBM Consulting - Sustainability Services in Bucharest, Romania

Introduction

We are currently seeking an experienced and passionate Product Marketing Manager to join our Sustainability Services marketing team. In this role, you will work closely with our consulting team, marketing discipline focals, clients, and partners to develop and execute comprehensive, multi-channel marketing programs that drive the success of our products and services in our target client accounts.

Your Role and Responsibilities

  • Participate in interlocks with Consulting leaders assessing the readiness, timing, and roll out of market entry points within our consulting portfolios

  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for our sustainability services, highlighting how IBM provides market-leading consulting services to enterprise clients leveraging IBM technology solutions and our ecosystem partners

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, to develop full funnel marketing campaigns, content and sales collateral, including thought leadership content, videos, sales materials, webinars, blog posts, presentations, customer case studies, demos and more.

  • Galvanize internal support across IBM marketing for our consulting portfolio and ensure marketing generated signals that land in our target accounts are viewed appropriately by our business and followed up.

  • Monitor, analyze, and report on marketing performance and adjust strategies as needed.

  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including Consulting leadership, Sales, offering management, industry analysts, media, and influencers in the sustainability space

  • Stay current on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities, applying insights to inform marketing strategies.

  • Help develop and maintain industry, product and thought leadership positioning and messaging.

  • Support industry-focused impact storytelling by seeking out, writing and publishing stories that highlight how customers work with IBM to achieve sustainable outcomes.

  • Facilitate cross-team collaboration to lead with Impact at important customer events.

This is a Hybrid role, attendance at the office will be required only 3 times per week.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • 3+ years of experience in product marketing, preferably in a B2B environment.

  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful product marketing plans.

  • Strong communication and writing, with the ability to distill complex ideas into clear and compelling messaging.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to draw insights from data and apply them to marketing strategies.

  • Familiarity with marketing tools and platforms, such as marketing automation, CRM, and analytics software.

  • An interest or understanding of sustainability issues and are excited to sit at the intersection of technology, design, sustainability and social impact.

  • Excellent marketing skills, including campaign development, execution, and measurement

  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including consulting, sales, product management, and marketing

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret market data and make informed decisions

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas simply and persuasively

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
