Philips Marketing & Sales Manager Emergency Care CEE (Maternity leave cover) in Bucharest, Romania

Your challenge:

In this role you are responsible for co-shaping the strategy and deploying our Marketing & Sales efforts for the Emergency Care business, working for the CEE geography. You work closely with the European Business Category Leaders, the wider European EC and CEE zone teams to design and execute on our EC plans for the zone. You support and nurture our channel partners for short and long term success.

Your responsibilities in this role:

  • Identify and generate new business opportunities, acting as catalyst and initiator of new business development in collaboration with partners

  • Provide support to channel partners (incl. product specifications, demo trials) regarding technical / functional advantage of Philips EC solutions

  • Formulate, prioritize and co-shape business growth ideas for Emergency Care in CEE through scouting of internal and external sources in close partnership with Europe EC Category leads

  • Nurture and educate sales force of indirect channel partners to upgrade their competitive knowledge / skills related to Philips EC products & solutions

  • Drive & execute marketing activities on the territory, in collaboration with partners, focused on increasing KOLs preference towards Philips products

  • Plan sales-related activities and manage OIT & sales forecast on the territory, in collaboration with the ICM team

  • Collect and channel back information about market dynamics, competitive activities/products, providing input for regular reviews of Philips market tactics

  • Provide information on product updates to partners, District Managers and their teams

  • Build and nurture key relations with relevant KOLs

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:

  • Minimum Bachelor Degree in business, medical engineering or related discipline

  • 7+ years of experience working in business / marketing / sales

  • Sales and P&L experience with a proven track record

  • Strong knowledge of and experience working with Emergency Care portfolio

  • Clinical knowledge of defibrillation products and workflows is an advantage

  • 5+ years of experience working with indirect channel partners

  • Ability to demonstrate emotional intelligence, high independence and initiative

  • Strong business orientation – ability to understand business needs and translate into actionable plans

  • Great collaborator, able to work as part of a virtual team

  • Strong stakeholder management skills, ability to represent the company in front of customers, industry organizations and lead change

  • Ability to drive results in a matrix structure

  • Customer focused mindset

  • Experience in Modality Management and tactical sales plan development and execution

  • Good command of written and spoken English

  • Readiness for intensive travel within CEE and occasionally within Europe

  • Advanced communication skills

  • Strong business acumen and orientation on target achievement
