Global Maintenance and Automation Team is looking for a Proficy Configuration Expert!

As Proficy Configuration Expert you will be part of the Global Maintenance and Automation team , delivering support for Manufacturing sites by performing Proficy configurations as well as identifying potential process improvement areas in your day to day scope of work.

Main Responsibilities: • Executing ongoing configuration requests for manufacturing execution systems globally(100+ sites)• Understanding site needs and add functionality of multiple solutions• Automation of routine tasks and standardizing processes to improve efficiency and productivity• Building strong collaborations and applying effective time management abilities

Job Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED)

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (nice to have) OR Bachelors in any field AND equivalent practical experience demonstrating the desired technical knowledge and skills in IT applications/integration

• A previous p ractical knowledge of software development processes

• The ability to work independently

• Ability to communicate technical concepts to teammates and non-technical colleagues

• Previous history of solving problems with creative solutions

• Fluent in English

• DESIRED (PREFERED) QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience in using DDL, DML and TCL, SQL, HTML

• Knowledge of other programming languages is a plus

• Experience developing and deploying production software

• Experience with cloud native development on Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, or Google Cloud Platform

• Understanding CI/CD tools and familiarity with working in a DevOps environment

• Experience or knowledge of manufacturing systems would also be a plus
