THERAPIST TECH I 60 (377) Open Until Filled Salary: $25,815 to $29,047 Annually Salary is based on education and experience

Job Description: To provide direct care and active treatment/training to individuals receiving services through Developmental Services at Life Choice Center. The program is designed to assist those persons who meet the priority population definition of intellectual disability and other developmental disabilities and are requesting day habilitation services to increase their independent living skills. The Therapist Technician is responsible for transportation of individuals to and from community outings, activities and transportation to their homes when needed. The Therapist Technician will also be assigned a caseload and is responsible for providing the provision of active treatment/training and documentation as specified for each consumer. Education: High School Diploma or GED Experience: Prefer experience working with individuals with Intellectual Disabilities Hours of Work: 8am5pm, Monday through Friday Licenses/Certifications: Must have a valid Texas Drivers license and be insurable by Agency insurance and have a good driving record. Physical Requirements: Light lifting under 30lbs., moderate carrying 15-44lbs., simple grasping, walking, sitting, standing, operating a motor vehicle, operating office equipment, ability to see and hear (with aid), ability to ready, write and county, the ability to maintain confidentiality and to work closely with others.
