Responsibilities

Job Summary / Purpose:

Repairs, Maintains, and Operates HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems, as well as Performs routine maintenance with limited to zero supervision.

Essential Key Job Responsibilities:

Performs assigned tasks according to the requirement of their particular craft or trade.

Participate in training programs including personal development, safety education, and technical advancement, and also maintain a superior attitude toward professional development.

Operate project HVAC equipment including, but not limited to, boilers, chillers, air handler units, and computerized environmental control systems under the direction of leader.

Maintain project HVAC equipment including, but not limited to, boilers, chillers, air handler units, and computerized environmental control systems under the direction of the leader.

Operate, maintain, and participate in the testing of project life/safety systems including emergency power, sprinkler, fire alarm, and specialty medical alarm systems.

Respond to and resolve tenant house call needs in a timely fashion including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and miscellaneous requests. Maintain an accurate log of same.

Analyze special projects presented by property management and the leader including but not limited to tenant construction, cost saving proposals, and manpower development needs.

May be required to work extended hours in case of an emergency

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:

Education: High School Diploma or GED

Experience: Eight (8) years’ experience

Required Licensure and Certifications:

Valid Driver License

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Training:

Ability to demonstrate correct use of chemicals, supplies and tools assigned. Ability to work with public and other employees. Computer literate. Must have ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE). Physical abilities; such as lifting up to 50 lbs. climbing and squatting.

Pay Range

$18.74 - $25.77 /hour
