Capital Farm Credit Enterprise Risk Analyst in Bryan, Texas
Description/Job Summary
EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, agribusiness, or related field
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Two (2) to five (5) years of risk management and/or credit experience.
Some experience in banking or agriculture lending is preferred.
FUNCTIONS:
Gathers, tracks, and analyzes data specific to enterprise risks including development of dashboards and reporting as needed.
Carries out multiple elements of the model risk management function including application analysis, validation activities, and reporting to model owners.
Assists and compiles various financial analysis including budget data.
Analyzes external commodity data in comparison to Association commodity data to identify risks or opportunities with reporting to management as needed.
Contributes to the Association-wide stress testing of loan portfolio.
Contributes to counter-party risk and concentration management programs.
Customizes risk reporting and develop dashboards to monitor risk trends.
Gathers, tracks, and analyzes data specific to the fraud risk framework.
Assists with internal process improvements such as automating manual processes and optimizing data delivery.
Maintains a trusted, collaborative relationship with organizational staff to promote an appropriate level of engagement in risk management activities.
Assists with Association-wide projects as needed.
PREFERRED SKILLS:
Should be adept at data collection, organization, and demonstrate initiative for identifying data sources.
Familiarity with enterprise risk management concepts is preferred.
Multi-tasking and project management skills is helpful.
General knowledge of accounting systems and accounting concepts, along with specific knowledge of credit and risk management systems.
Strong communication skills are necessary in a consistent and ongoing basis.
Collaborative skills to work with others and integrate/communicate key concepts, results and findings are required.
