Capital Farm Credit Enterprise Risk Analyst in Bryan, Texas

Description/Job Summary

EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, agribusiness, or related field

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Two (2) to five (5) years of risk management and/or credit experience.

  • Some experience in banking or agriculture lending is preferred.

FUNCTIONS:

  • Gathers, tracks, and analyzes data specific to enterprise risks including development of dashboards and reporting as needed.

  • Carries out multiple elements of the model risk management function including application analysis, validation activities, and reporting to model owners.

  • Assists and compiles various financial analysis including budget data.

  • Analyzes external commodity data in comparison to Association commodity data to identify risks or opportunities with reporting to management as needed.

  • Contributes to the Association-wide stress testing of loan portfolio.

  • Contributes to counter-party risk and concentration management programs.

  • Customizes risk reporting and develop dashboards to monitor risk trends.

  • Gathers, tracks, and analyzes data specific to the fraud risk framework.

  • Assists with internal process improvements such as automating manual processes and optimizing data delivery.

  • Maintains a trusted, collaborative relationship with organizational staff to promote an appropriate level of engagement in risk management activities.

  • Assists with Association-wide projects as needed.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • Should be adept at data collection, organization, and demonstrate initiative for identifying data sources.

  • Familiarity with enterprise risk management concepts is preferred.

  • Multi-tasking and project management skills is helpful.

  • General knowledge of accounting systems and accounting concepts, along with specific knowledge of credit and risk management systems.

  • Strong communication skills are necessary in a consistent and ongoing basis.

  • Collaborative skills to work with others and integrate/communicate key concepts, results and findings are required.
