Overview
Lead and coordinate the daily operations of the Angiography department; will need to complete position responsibilities by following established guidelines and protocols within the appropriate time frame, and must be flexible with his/her work schedule. Involves discretion and independent action within prescribed limits.

Responsibilities
Supervisory and leadership skills needed to mentor other technologists.
Knowledge of proper use and maintenance of Angio equipment.
Knowledge of Angio examinations as well as procedures that require the use of contrast agents.
Ability to manage patients during complex Angio procedures exams such biopsies, drainages, etc.
Able to follow oral and written instructions and communicate effectively with patients, visitors, and employees within the organization.
Knowledge and practice of the ALARA (As low as reasonably achievable) standards when performing exams.
Knowledge of patient transfer and positioning techniques,
Ability to handle multiple tasks/projects and meet deadlines.
Demonstration of ethical and professional conduct.
Provide general oversight of inventory, scheduling staff and managing board/schedule.
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience
Associate’s Degree preferred
Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (R ); must maintain current
Certified by the State of Texas ‐ MRT
American Heart Association BLS card
Three (3) years of experience
Pay Range
$30.47 - $44.19 /hour
