Parkview North Hospital Pharmacy Manager - Community Hospital in Bryan, Ohio
Summary: Provides transformational leadership involving pharmacy services that produces a culture of high-performance with a focus on hospitality, innovation, continual improvement, technology, and delivering patient focused care and customer satisfaction. Coordinates and supervises all pharmacy personnel, activities, programs and staffs the department as needed. Area(s) of responsibility may include: Clinical services, Inpatient Operations/Services (Unit Dose, Sterile Products, etc.), Business Operations (Purchasing, Inventory, etc.), Outpatient Operations/Services, and Technology/Information systems that affect these respective areas.
Education: Must have B. S., M. S., or Pharm. D. degree from a school of pharmacy.
Licensure/Certification: Must hold a valid license as a Registered Pharmacist from the State Board of Pharmacy
Experience: Must have one year as a Hospital Pharmacist or a M. S. , or Pharm D. and three months minimum on-the-job training. Prefer experience in a Coumadin clinic. Must have good verbal and written communication skills; proficiency in computer skills including Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Prefer experience and basic knowledge with Pyxis, Autopharm, EPIC, and related software applications.
