A Day in the Life
Your main goal is to provide supervision and day-to-day leadership of the full Technical Consultants (TC) Team and the Project Management Technical Consultants (PMTC) within the Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM) Operating Unit in Belgium and Luxembourg (BeLux). You will jointly be responsible for the collaboration between the sales reps and the technical consultants so that they collectively build the highest level of customer satisfaction in an efficient and complementary manner. You will lead a team that provides implant support to the medical team in operating theatres or catheterization/Electrophysiology (EP) labs, while also taking responsibility for driving relevant and needs based Training & Education programs. You will act as a strong coach and secure necessary support, training, coaching and motivation of the TC team members. Externally, the ability to build excellent relationships with Key Opinion Leaders, general cardiologists, technicians and other hospital staff will be key.
You will report to the Sales Manager CRM in the BeLux, ensuring that the sales and TC organization is strongly coordinated. Flexible hours are provided and required. Constant travel within the country boarders is mandatory in this role.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
Provide supervision to the CRM Technical Consultants and PMTC, by having clear targets and objectives in place, allocate resources, and monitor progression of individual results as well as team results
Coach, develop and energize team members in close collaboration with the OU Sales Manager, and provide input to the performance evaluation of the team members, both remotely as during co-visits in the field
In close collaboration with Sales Manager, ensure that short- and long-term sales & profitability targets are met, by providing efficient technical support and differentiated and value-added training and education with the TC team, and in close collaboration with the sales team
Work very closely with the regional Training and Education Manager, with whom the supervisor will plan implementation of high-quality Training & Education programs
Plan and execute presentations and meetings to provide information regarding company products in cooperation with the sales team. Lead the coordination of support scheduling and take the lead in onboarding new customers and starting innovations
Identify new opportunities for technical differentiation and value creation for customers and move funnel from identify to implement
Keep inventory level efficient and work together with the Service Innovation Manager on new inventory distribution solutions to open the market for alternative service solutions
Required Knowledge and Experience:
Bachelor’s or master’s degree, ideally in biomedical engineering, Life-science, Business Administration or Biology or another relevant, advanced degree
Strong sense of responsibility, stress resistance and flexibility
Innovative mindset with the wish for continuous learning and improvement of own skills.
Track record of being a grounded diplomat and relationship builder
Experience in the CRM/cardio field is a must, as well as fluency in Dutch, French and English
Advanced People Management skills, strong leadership and influencing skills, motivator
