ICF Senior Community Manager in Brussels, Belgium

Description

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s degree (minimum 3 years) in marketing, communications, business administration, language teaching, or a related field.

  • Alternatively, a background in pedagogy related to language learning.

Experience:

  • At least 5 years of experience in:

  • Team Management : Leading and managing a large team, with responsibilities including performance evaluations, and team development.

  • Community Moderation : Moderating large online international communities Demonstrated ability to foster engagement, manage conflicts, and maintain a positive community atmosphere.

  • Content Production : Creating and managing original content in various languages, ensuring it meets the diverse needs of a global audience. Proficiency in crafting compelling and engaging content across multiple platforms.

  • Social Platform Management : Overseeing social media platforms, tailoring content to different user bases, and utilizing analytics to optimize engagement and reach.

  • Quality Assurance : Implementing and maintaining quality assurance processes to ensure high standards across all community interactions and content. Experience in monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of community strategies and initiatives.

Additional Requirements:

  • Must be EU-based.

  • Fluent in English (additional languages are a plus).

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement community management strategies to increase engagement and foster a positive community atmosphere.

  • Lead a team of community managers and moderators, providing guidance, support, and training.

  • Create and curate content that resonates with the community, ensuring it aligns with brand values and goals.

  • Monitor community activity, respond to user inquiries, and address any issues or conflicts promptly.

  • Analyze community metrics and feedback to continuously improve community strategies and initiatives.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align community efforts with overall business objectives.
