Medtronic Planning Management Coordinator in Brussels, Belgium

We are looking for our next Planning Management Coordinator to join our Medtronic Benelux Sales organization. You will be part of the Event Management team, a professional business partner for internal & external customers.

As part of the Event Management team, your goal is to guide our customers, within the multinational company of Medtronic, by working with high administrative requirements and by offering high quality support in a pro-active and efficient way. The challenge is getting the requests fulfilled for the customers by setting the right priorities and getting the data from your business partner(s) on time. Our department mission is to connect colleagues & processes, in which delivering service is essential.

A Day in the Life

Every day you will be responsible for the Planning of our Technical Consultants that day. You will get calls from Hospitals to schedule support for planned Pacemaker/ICD (Implantable Cardioverter-Defibrillator) procedures where the hospital is requesting Medtronic’s personal support. You will check with your team of Technical Consultants who’s available. Every day it is a new challenge to create a suitable planning. Requests can sometimes come in at the last minute, which means you must be able to act very quickly and efficiently. Stress resistance is truly required here, as well as sufficient communication skills. Your goal is to complete the planning puzzle every day and inform everyone involved accordingly.

You will work effectively and efficiently within a complex matrix organization, in an environment where priority changes occur. This may result in working on process improvement activities with the team.

You act as an ambassador for Medtronic in general and the Dutch Sales Office specific. We expect you to be compliant with standard Medtronic policies, quality & regulatory procedures, Environment Health Safety & Security rules, Code of Conduct, Household Rules and Core Behaviors.

Must Haves

• MBO+ or HBO level of working and thinking

• Fluency in Dutch and English, both verbal and written; our team speaks Dutch on a daily basis

• Ability to cope with stress and work under pressure

• Excellent communication skills in a matrix & complex environment

• Ability to learn quickly and manage several tasks and project at once

• Ability to work independently and proactively within a team

Nice to Haves

• Computer literacy (MS-Office and preferably SAP/ ERP, Salesforce Lighting, Cvent, One note)
