Amazon Greenfield Account Manager, United Nations in Brussels, Belgium
Description
The United Nations (UN) Account Management team is working on some of the most impactful customer initiatives in AWS Worldwide Public Sector (WWPS). As the Greenfield Account Manager, you will have the exciting opportunity to work alongside our Enterprise Account Management team to build relationships with the next generation of UN customers. In doing so you will help to establish AWS as the leading partner to help resolve the agencies’ most prevalent challenges with established and emerging technologies.
To be successful in this role, you will be a self-starter that is persistent in your pursuit to deliver results for our customers and our business. You will love to learn, and will have a keen interest in world affairs, especially humanitarian crises and peace keeping operations. You will have a desire to innovate, collaborate, and invent with customers and partners. This will require basic knowledge of public cloud, GenAI, and legacy infrastructure.
This role is ideally suited to an ambitious candidate that is keen to take their sales career to the next level. While not an entry-level position, it is a great development opportunity, providing a solid foundation to progress towards future Enterprise Account Manager positions.
Key job responsibilities
Manage your territory like it is your own business, with a focus on customer impact and sustained growth
Develop and execute a territory plan to promote and facilitate customer adoption of AWS
Align AWS services to United Nations agencies’ business challenges, directly and via the AWS Partner Network
Take existing value propositions to technical and line of business leaders in your territory
Where required, work with your colleagues, AWS teams, and AWS partners to develop new compelling value propositions for your customers
Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline to drive business growth and expansion in a defined territory
Develop, coordinate, and deliver initiatives alongside AWS teams, to earn trust with your customers
Ensure consistent, bar-raising, customer satisfaction for the customers in your territory

Basic Qualifications
One-to-two years’ direct sales experience taking value propositions to prospective customers
You will possess both a business and technical background that enables them to engage an account at the CXO level as well as with software developers and IT architects
Strong verbal and written communications skills. Fluent in French and English
Preferred Qualifications
Experience interacting with line of business leaders (non-technical roles)
Creative mindset, some early evidence of an ability to think and work strategically
Basic experience reporting on your own sales performance to colleagues and sales leadership
Experience working in or with Public Sector customers and with global teams
AWS Cloud Practitioner Certified
